GPN 2024 Annual Meeting

The USDA is a large agency comprising of 46 sub-agencies. The Agricultural Research Service (USDA ARS) is the principal research agency of the USDA. This workshop will go other the mechanisms by which collaboration with the ARS happens, touching on research funds. The workshop will then move into teams which will develop potential project ideas, and then vet those ideas in a pseudo Red Team/Blue Team format. Participants will walk away from the workshop with an understanding of how collaborative projects work within the ARS, and some of their own (vetted) ideas of potential projects.
